An excellent blue-water adventure sailing weekend on an expedition sailing yacht from San Diego, Southern California to Ensenada, Mexico
This adventure sailing weekend should be a nice sedate offshore and coastal passage allowing you to hone your passage making skills or learn the basics in a warm, welcoming environment. It will be a chance to experience life aboard a live aboard, without taking too much time out of your schedule, practice or learn navigation, seamanship, and enjoy the very best Pacific sailing has to offer.
Designed to thrive in these waters, the expedition yacht is specifically set up for volunteer crew with both experienced and limited sailing experience and she can safely handle any number of sailing conditions the Pacific might throw at her. With a crew capacity of 14 and a cruising speed of 12 knots, she is a comfortable and exciting ocean-going yacht and will easily crunch the nautical miles from San Diego to Ensenada.

The operators of this floating marine conservation yacht are quite unique. They believe that the depth, complexity and sheer inertia of the threats to our oceans is significant but that practical solutions and the resources to implement them do still exist. The central challenge is our collective will to act, to care. They also believe that our ultimate success depends on a future generation of inspired conservationists.
True to their beliefs the team is passionate about involving everyday people in their mission. Their support of marine exploration, education and conservation work is specifically designed to create space for regular people to join the front line team.
Another World Adventures is proud to support these not-for-profit expeditions.
