Crew Places 2016 Tortola Sailing Regatta 2016

Are you ready for speed? It’s the Tortola Sailing Regatta 2016
We’re excited to announce that a new sailing operator has come into the Another World Adventures family. We were impressed with their dual purpose of creating lasting memories at sea for guests on its fun sailing adventures but also the important work they do to make a lasting contribution to the lives of high-risk young offenders. Now you can join this fantastic vessel for the Tortola Sailing Regatta 2016.
On board their 65’ sailboat the crew offers fantastic week long sail cruising and racing opportunities around the Caribbean and Europe for anyone from beginners to experienced race sailors. But, when everyone’s headed home their work isn’t done as when the sailboat is not sailing with paying crew it runs a young offender intervention programme.
This high impact ocean-based mentoring programme offers an alternative to incarceration and aims to help at-risk high school students from entering the justice system and all the profits from their adventure sailing trips go to fund this important programme.
So, if you love the idea of an adventure outside your comfort zone and you love a bit of speed then these sailing trips could be just for you.
Tortola Sailing Regatta 2016
The Tortola Sailing Regatta is all about speed – it’s a race after all. As part of a small crew of people from around the world you’ll spend a week sailing three race courses around spectacular islands with lots of fun evening entertainment each night … beach parties, street festivals, if it’s got ‘good times’ on the label you’ll be doing it.
