We have an exciting last-minute opportunity for you to join a tall ship staycation along the Scottish coast, sailing from Ullapool to Aberdeen, departing on the 27th May! Step aboard a tall ship – your perfect movable home to explore the Hebrides. 

Tall ship sailing transports you to another time and on this trip you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the day-to-day management of the historic tall ship. There is nothing like her for exploring from the sea. Under expert tuition, you’ll be making sense of her complex rope system and helping to manage her impressive sails in no time.

After an evening meeting your fellow crew members on the boat in Ullapool and settling in, you will hoist the sails and head out to explore some of the most exciting and remote islands in the British Isles with almost untouched rugged landscapes and exceptional wildlife.

The trip has a great mix of sailing and heading ashore with the dinghy to explore islands, too. The exact route will vary depending on the weather, but on the wishlist are the Shiant Islands  – which are known for their wildlife population – and the capital of Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands. You will disembark at the end of the voyage in the beautiful Scottish city of Aberdeen on the 4th June.

The combination of Scottish landscapes and the unusual tall ship makes it an experience you will not forget.
