Duration: 20 days
View Dates

A true offshore adventure, combining rewarding ocean passages with remote tropical islands, pristine coral reefs and cultures shaped by centuries of maritime tradition.

This 20-day expedition is the final leg of an extraordinary four-month sailing journey from Fiji to Indonesia. Join this standalone adventure or complete the entire expedition as you sail across one of the Pacific’s most remote and rewarding cruising routes.

Departing Kavieng in Papua New Guinea, you’ll venture west across little-travelled waters towards Jayapura in Indonesia’s Papua Province. This is a true offshore adventure, combining rewarding ocean passages with remote tropical islands, pristine coral reefs and cultures shaped by centuries of maritime tradition. Crossing an international border under sail adds an extra sense of achievement as you complete one of the South Pacific’s great expedition routes.

Rather than a traditional sailing holiday, this is an immersive expedition where you’ll become part of everyday life on board. Guest crew actively participate in sailing, watchkeeping, meal preparation and the shared routines of long-distance cruising, with every day shaped by the weather, the wind and the rhythm of life at sea.

Your home throughout the voyage is a comfortable 52ft ocean-going sailing yacht with four double cabins and four bathrooms. Led by experienced skipper Francesco and his partner Anna, life on board is collaborative and relaxed, creating an authentic expedition atmosphere rather than a charter experience.

As the final chapter of the expedition, this voyage offers the satisfaction of completing an unforgettable journey across the South Pacific, finishing in one of Indonesia’s most fascinating and least-visited regions.
