Set sail through Raja Ampat’s maze of jungle islands, coral reefs and remote anchorages on an unforgettable sailing adventure.
Raja Ampat is the kind of place that seems made for exploring by sailing boat.
Scattered across the seas off western New Guinea, this extraordinary Indonesian archipelago is a maze of forest-covered islands, limestone karsts, hidden lagoons, coral reefs and impossibly clear water. More than 1,500 islands, cays and shoals surround the four main islands of Waigeo, Batanta, Salawati and Misool, creating an enormous cruising ground where travelling by yacht allows you to reach places far beyond the usual tourist trail.
Join a small crew aboard a 52ft sailing yacht for a series of intimate Raja Ampat expeditions over December 2026 and January 2027. Days unfold according to conditions and opportunity: sailing between islands, anchoring in beautiful bays, swimming and snorkelling over remarkable reefs, going ashore to explore and enjoying life aboard in one of the most spectacular marine environments on Earth.
These are adventurous, flexible voyages rather than fixed-route cruises. The skipper will shape each journey around weather, sea conditions and the best opportunities available at the time.
Your home throughout the voyage is a comfortable 52ft ocean-going sailing yacht with four double cabins and four bathrooms. Led by experienced skipper Francesco and his partner Anna, life on board is collaborative and relaxed, creating an authentic expedition atmosphere rather than a charter experience.
