This 23-day expedition is one of the most adventurous legs of an extraordinary four-month sailing journey across the South Pacific, offering the chance to experience life aboard a long-distance cruising yacht without committing to the entire voyage.

Guests can join this leg on its own or combine it with neighbouring passages through Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia to create a much longer adventure.

Beginning in Luganville on Espiritu Santo, this voyage leaves the familiar cruising routes behind as you sail north through Vanuatu’s remote Banks Islands before crossing into the little-visited Santa Cruz Islands and on to Honiara in the Solomon Islands. Along the way you’ll visit places including Gaua, Ure Parapara and Tegua—volcanic islands surrounded by spectacular reefs, rich marine life and traditional Melanesian communities where tourism remains exceptionally rare.

Rather than a traditional sailing holiday, this is an immersive offshore passage where you’ll become part of everyday life on board. Guest crew actively participate in sailing, watchkeeping, meal preparation and the shared routines of long-distance cruising, with days shaped by the weather, the wind and the rhythm of the sea.

Your home throughout the voyage is a comfortable 52ft ocean-going sailing yacht with four double cabins and four bathrooms. Led by experienced skipper Francesco and his partner Anna, life on board is collaborative and relaxed, creating an authentic expedition atmosphere rather than a charter experience.
