It’s rare, in a world of flight paths and itineraries, to find an adventure that still feels genuinely epic. A full circumnavigation by sail, over three years, is exactly that — a slow, looping journey across the Pacific, Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Southern Ocean, and beyond.

One of our partners is preparing to go aboard a 70-foot expedition yacht built to roam remote waters.

Departing in June 2026 and sailing over three years, they’re inviting people happy to pay-to-play to step aboard for stretches of the route.

Not for a cruise, but a real ocean passage: reef navigation, night watches, big seas, bigger scenery, and the profound simplicity of moving across the planet under wind and star.

Sailing west from Tonga, the journey crosses the planet’s most storied seas — from the volcanoes and reefs of the South Pacific to the spice routes of Asia, the coral-fringed atolls of the Indian Ocean, and the ice-strewn wonders of Antarctica.

Check out the route below with details. You could join for one or more, heck, they’ve said if anyone wanted to join for the whole thing they could figure something out. Plus there’s a discount for multiple legs.

The Boat

This is a 70-foot expedition yacht built not for marina posing, but for the long, wild edges of the map. Designed in the UK with robustness and range in mind, it was conceived from day one to take people into remote seas safely and comfortably, rather than adapted after the fact. You’ll be in good company as one of max 10 voyage crew. It carries the rare MCA Category Zero certification — essentially a licence to go anywhere on the planet — meaning its construction, stability, safety systems and medical set-up meet the highest possible standards for ocean voyaging. In short, it’s the sort of vessel you choose when you plan to cross entire oceans, not just bays, and want to feel both courageous and completely looked after while doing so.
