Your home for the week is a 5-star rated hostel with dormitory style bedrooms, each sleeping up to 6 guests. It’s a traditional Welsh stone building, featuring slate floors, log burners and comfy sofas – perfect for relaxing after a long day in the saddle. And for the summer months there’s an outdoor decking area with firepit. When you’re not out biking, the hostel’s social areas are the perfect space to relax with your new trail mates.

If you prefer to have a private room that can often be accommodated. Please enquire before booking to ensure availability on your chosen date.

Within walking distance there are a couple of pubs serving homely food and an outdoor centre with a bar that serves good food. Betws-Y-Coed is just 5 miles down the road, offering a wide selection of bars, restaurants and cafes. Or if you fancy rustling up your own meal one night, the hostel has a large kitchen for guests to use.

Breakfast

Fuelling up is crucial when you’re mountain biking all day, so breakfast is provided each day in a small local cafe right next door to your hostel.

Lunch

To keep you going throughout the day, you’ll be given a picnic lunch to take on your ride when you’re out on wild trails. Enjoy refuelling on the trailside with your view of choice. On the two days when you’re at a trail centre there is hearty cafe food available to buy.

Dinner

There are a couple of local pubs and eateries within walking distance where you can get food in the evenings. Otherwise the main town of Betws-y-Coed is just 5 miles away and offers a wider selection of bars and restaurants.

This mountain bike adventure is designed for intermediate and experienced mountain bikers. You must be confident riding red graded trails and capable of tackling some black grade trails. You also need to be fit enough to ride for 5 consecutive days.
