Ocean adventure at its very best
Original post: Another World Adventures
In 2024/25, you have the chance to set sail on a Category 0 All Oceans yacht originally built for the Global Challenge Race. To say we’re excited is an understatement—you are set for some serious adventure sailing!
The 2000-built 72-ft (22-m) 90,000-lb displacement steel-hulled yacht can take on the toughest ocean sailing and is purpose-built for circumnavigation.
We have worked with this boat and crew since 2013 in her previous life as a research vessel, where she took to the North Pacific with 14 women sailors researching the true extent of plastic pollution in the region, chronicled in the documentary X Trillion.
You can now experience the stunning capabilities of this yacht for yourself in her new life as a training and adventure sailing vessel. She is headed by two professional women sailors, and is the perfect combination of rugged capability, capacity, and efficiency, with a low environmental footprint—ideal for remote sailing expeditions.
You have the chance to join her for voyages of varying lengths in the Atlantic and Pacific as she sails from Europe to the Americas. Are you ready to join the crew?

Here are a few comments from recent travellers that give a flavour of their experience aboard:
“Over the past 19 months I have had the real pleasure of sailing on four separate voyages. They have been without a doubt some of the most exciting and memorable vacations of my life.”
“This trip far exceeded any expectation I had. It was an amazing week hosted by amazing people. I had never sailed before so had absolutely no knowledge of how a sailboat worked but with the crew that did not matter. Shanley, Eric, and Meret patiently instructed everyone, regardless of skill level, how to work safely. They were always close by to step in and help if necessary.”
“Sailing from Tahiti to Kiritimati to Oahu was dream sailing with the trade winds abeam for almost the entire 2,500 NM. We just cruised along enjoying the sun, sea birds, flying fish, and the disco jellyfish glowing at night.”
